How does Terraco® ClickTile perform in cold or frosty climates?

Terraco® ClickTile has undergone freeze–thaw thermal cycling testing and is used in cold-climate markets. Sensible placement is recommended in areas subject to severe frost.

Does Terraco® ClickTile get hot in direct sun?

Terraco® ClickTile has a lower surface temperature than many hard outdoor surfaces, including traditional tiles and timber decking, making it more comfortable underfoot in exposed outdoor areas.

Is Terraco® ClickTile UV stable?

Yes. The resin binder used in Terraco® ClickTile is UV stable, designed to retain colour integrity and performance in high-exposure environments.

Is Terraco® ClickTile mould resistant?

Yes. With Terraco® ClickTile there's no mould or algae for 10+ years.

Is Terraco® ClickTile suitable for commercial projects?

Yes. Terraco® ClickTile is suitable for residential, multi-residential, and commercial projects, including hospitality, retail, and public outdoor spaces.

How much maintenance does Terraco® ClickTile require?

Terraco® ClickTile requires minimal maintenance. Routine cleaning with water is typically sufficient, and where required, a mild detergent can be used.

How easy is it to install Terraco® ClickTile?

Terraco® ClickTile is designed for simplicity. The slabs click together effortlessly, enabling you to lay a resin-bound surface quickly. In fact, you can install up to 20 square meters in just 5 minutes, without the need for any adhesive products or extensive labour.

Can Terraco® ClickTile be installed on uneven or sloping sites?

Yes, with appropriate site preparation and drainage design. Raised installations can be achieved using adjustable support systems where required.

Can I raise the tiles for door thresholds/ step-ups?

We recommend the use of adjustable deck jacks where height adjustment is required.

Base preparation (soil or grass substrates)

For non-hard substrates compacted crushed stone base and GeoGrid or geotextile fabric is recommended, to prevent sinking and slurry backflow. Depending on the application, it can be installed on compacted bases, over concrete slabs and on adjustable deck jack systems for raised applications.

Do I need specialist installers?

Specialist trade certification is required. Terraco® ClickTile is designed to be installed by landscapers, builders, tilers, and deck installers, as it is a DIY product.

Does Terraco® ClickTile require sealing?

No. Terraco® ClickTile is supplied as a finished product and does not require ongoing sealing.

Is Terraco® ClickTile suitable for pedestrian or heavy traffic areas?

Terraco® ClickTile is designed for pedestrian traffic in residential and commercial outdoor environments. Project-specific traffic requirements should be reviewed during specification. Supports >10 MPa compressive strength.

Can individual tiles be replaced if damaged?

Yes. Due to the interlocking system, you simply remove and replace tiles if required.

Do you supply nationwide in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands?

Yes. Terraco® ClickTile is supplied nationwide throughout New Zealand via approved distributors, with supply available to selected Pacific Island markets.

Can I become a distributor?

Is Terraco® ClickTile an environmentally considered product?

Terraco® ClickTile is fully porous, which means it allows water to permeate through the surface, reducing runoff and promoting effective drainage. This feature supports sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS) and contributes to a more environmentally friendly outdoor space.
